Terms of Use

These terms of use apply to the use of the TAC Mini App (hereinafter “App”) and the associated functions provided by epicsoft LLC (hereinafter “we” or “Provider”). You can find the complete provider information in the legal notice.

Deviating or supplementary conditions of the user shall not apply unless we expressly agree to their validity.

The app enables members of TAC clubs to organize gaming activities related to the TAC board game. This specifically includes the administration of clubs and members, the recording of games and results, the display of statistics and ratings, as well as the planning of dates and events.

The specific scope of features may evolve. We are not obligated to provide specific features permanently.

Use of the app requires a valid Telegram account. By using the app, you represent that you have reached the minimum age required by the laws of your country of residence or have the consent of your legal representatives, and that the information you provide is accurate.

When the app is first started, a user account is created based on your Telegram identity. You are solely responsible for the confidentiality of the access to your Telegram account. Actions performed through your account will be attributed to you.

The personal data processed in this context is described in the privacy policy.

Within the app, users may join clubs and assume various roles (e.g., member, support, or administrator). Certain roles are associated with extended permissions, such as managing members, recording results, or managing club data.

Club administrators act on their own responsibility. They are solely responsible for the content they enter or manage and for the handling of club members' data.

You agree to use the app only in accordance with applicable laws and these terms. Specifically, the following is prohibited:

• entering false or misleading information (e.g., fabricated results)
• violating the rights of third parties or posting unlawful, offensive, or harassing content
• disrupting or overloading the app or its underlying infrastructure, or accessing data without authorization
• using the app via automated means in a manner that impairs its proper operation

In the event of violations, we may restrict or block access to the app.

You are solely responsible for the content you enter (e.g., names, results, club information). You warrant that you are authorized to enter and use this content and that it does not violate the rights of third parties.

We do not adopt user-generated content as our own and are not obligated to monitor it continuously. We will remove illegal content as soon as we become aware of it.

Users and clubs may only upload content for which they possess the necessary rights. This applies in particular to uploaded club logos and photos: You represent and warrant that you possess all necessary copyrights, trademark rights, personality rights, and other usage rights to these image and media contents, or that you have obtained the consent of the rightsholders and the depicted persons.

By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, spatially and temporally unrestricted right to store, reproduce, and display the content solely for the purpose of providing and presenting the service (app and associated website, including the public club and game pages).

You shall indemnify us against all third-party claims asserted against us due to a violation of their rights by the content you have uploaded, including reasonable legal defense costs. We are entitled to block or remove contested content upon knowledge of a possible legal violation. Please direct notices of legal violations to info@tac-game.club.

We strive for an operation that is as disruption-free as possible, but do not guarantee any specific availability. Maintenance work, technical malfunctions, or circumstances beyond our control (including disruptions to the Telegram platform) may lead to temporary restrictions.

We are entitled to further develop the app, change or discontinue features, provided this is reasonable for you.

The use of the app by individual members is generally free of charge. For the operation of a club, paid use may be applicable; the currently applicable conditions will be disclosed separately and can be viewed before the conclusion of the contract. Provided that no paid service has been expressly agreed upon, you will incur no costs.

You may terminate the use of the app at any time and request the deletion of your account. We may terminate the user relationship for good cause — in particular in the event of significant or repeated violations of these terms — with immediate effect and block access.

Following termination, your personal data will be deleted in accordance with the privacy policy, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

The app and its contents are provided without warranty and "as is". To the extent permitted by law, our liability is excluded.

This exclusion does not affect our liability for damages resulting from injury to life, limb, or health, for damages based on intent or gross negligence, as well as liability under the Product Liability Act and to the extent of any guarantee explicitly assumed by us. In the event of a slight negligent breach of a material contractual obligation (cardinal obligation), our liability is limited in amount to the typical, foreseeable damage; otherwise, liability in the event of slight negligence is excluded.

For services provided free of charge, we are only liable for intent and gross negligence. We assume no liability in particular for user-generated content—specifically club logos, photos, names, and results—for their accuracy or legality, or for any infringement of third-party rights; responsibility for this lies exclusively with the user or club providing the content. Similarly, we are not liable for disruptions or the data processing of the Telegram platform, nor for outages and data losses beyond our area of responsibility.

Information on the processing of your personal data can be found in our Privacy Policy. As the app is operated within Telegram, Telegram's terms and privacy policies also apply.

We reserve the right to adjust these Terms of Use to the extent that this is necessary to adapt to changed legal or technical frameworks or to expand the scope of functions, and provided that you are not unreasonably disadvantaged. We will inform you of significant changes in an appropriate manner. The currently applicable version shall apply to further use.

If individual provisions of these Terms of Use are ineffective, the effectiveness of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. The law of the provider's registered office shall apply, unless mandatory consumer protection regulations of your country of residence preclude this.
